Why are the dates in the forum wrong?

It says I joined December 20 but its not even that date yet! Is there a way to tell if something was posted recently?

It's probably a bug in the forum. I'll report it to the forum devs.
New posts should have a yellow badge on them when viewed from the desktop. I think there's a red one for the mobile view.
